Education

Members of the group all contribute a diverse range of educational experience, and bring enthusiasm and energy to all their projects. Individually, they have taken part in workshops with the London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra, National Youth Wind and Chamber Orchestras, Royal College of Music "Elastic Band", Musicale Holidays, and in a number of hospitals and schools. A presentation/workshop can be tailor made to suit the specific needs of the group.

Any music from the ensemble's repertoire may be utilised, however Pegasus also have specific works which they use for educational purposes. These include:

• Oboe - There Once Was an Ugly Duckling
• Clarinet - The Cat from Peter and the Wolf
• Bassoon - Nelly the Elephant

Trio demonstration - highlighting dynamics, timbre, texture tempi and a variety of styles. Works include:

• Nursery Rhyme Medley
• Disney Medley
• The Three Reed Rock

Each workshop can also include singing, movement, clapping games / use of percussion instruments and conducting.

The group can also demonstrate saxophone, flute, cor anglais, Eb clarinet and bass clarinet.
